So as soon as Alin & his dad FINALLY got in town, after spending two days stuck in Alabama because of the moving truck breaking down, they had only a few hours of sleep that night before we headed out in the morning to Ocean Isle Beach. We got to use my parents' GPS and had asked Vasile for the address. He told us it was in South Carolina and that it was the Myrtle Beach area. So we typed in the address and it didn't come up, so after trying a few more times, I said, let's just put the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina city center and we will just find it from there when we get into town. So we get to about 25 miles outside of Myrtle Beach and stop at a tourist center to ask how to get to Ocean Isle Beach and they tell us that it is in fact in North Carolina...... !%?^$* So I re-entered the address I was given but with North Carolina being the state, and sure enough, it came up. The funniest part about it was that Alin's mom was like "o fost GPS-u al vostru. You don't need a GPS." Go figure! LOL! So below are the photos taken with Alin's mom's camera from our trip. Enjoy!
Our Walk to the Beach.

No staging. This is what it looked like from where I was sitting.
Now the boys had a real reason to wear their flip-flops.
It was SOOOOO windy the first day, so we played for about a 1/2 hour with the boys in this little area.

There were a lot of helicopters that kept flying over the beach. Of course according to Charlie, they were called "Huccah-Poppers".

He was the only one brave enough to go in the water. It was TOO cold.

Alin's idea of a creative shot.

Alin protecting the boys from the gusty winds.

Tristan and Charlie kept running away each time a wave hit the shore because they thought they were being chased. LOL!

The end of Beach Day #2.

Watermelon for breakfast.

Alin & Vasile thought they would go and look for clams and musssles while the tide was low.

So they found some, washed them, cooked them, and ate them. Ugh! Ew! Yuck!

Irina & Vasile. Notice how Irina is trying to pretend that the camera is not on her. LOL!

So long!
